The pepper is grown at the southern province of Kampot. The climate, altitude and soil composition of this region are ideal for its cultivation. The production area benefits from a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) that is recognized, among others, by the European Union.
Every grain of Kampot pepper is a product of meticulous care — grown without chemicals, harvested by hand, and sun-dried beneath the Cambodian sky. With notes of citrus, fruit, and subtle heat, Confirel’s Kirum Kampot Pepper is a favorite of Michelin-starred chefs and conscious consumers alike. Confirel participated in Japan’s 60th Supermarket Trade Show, supported by the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, reinforcing its long-standing export presence in the Japanese market since 2018.
